How To Update Your Products

Go to Products from the main menu.

Your products are not created in Members One. They are imported from your connected store, whether that is WooCommerce or Shopify, and kept up to date automatically. This means the core details of a product, such as its name, price, SKU, stock level, status, images and descriptions, all come from your store. To change any of those details, you edit the product in your store, and the update flows into Members One on the next sync.

This keeps a single source of truth for your catalogue. You manage your products in the one place you already use, and Members One mirrors them so they can be added to clubs and included in scheduled orders. To learn more about the products list and what each column means, see the View Products article.

Where To Edit What

Most product changes are made in your store, and a few club-related settings are managed in Members One. Below is a table showing where each type of change is made.

Name, price and SKUEdit these in your WooCommerce or Shopify store. They are read-only in Members One and update automatically on the next sync.
Stock level and stock statusManaged in your store. Members One reflects whether a product is in stock, out of stock or on backorder once the sync runs.
Status (Active or Inactive)Set in your store. A published product shows as Active, a draft shows as Inactive. This is pulled in from your store.
Images and descriptionsEdit these in your store. The product image, short description and long description are synced across to Members One.
Club assignmentsManaged in Members One. You choose which clubs a product belongs to from your club settings.

How Changes Sync In

Automatic Syncing

  • Members One checks your store for product changes every fifteen minutes. After you edit a product in WooCommerce or Shopify, allow a short time for the update to appear.
  • New products added to your store are pulled in the same way, so there is no need to create them again in Members One.

Checking Sync Status

  • If a product change is not showing up as expected, you can check exactly where it is up to on the Sync Dashboard. It shows the sync status of your products and lets you retry anything that has failed.
  • To learn more, see the Sync Dashboard article.

Please note: Because your store is the source of truth for product details, editing a product in your store will overwrite the matching details in Members One on the next sync.

What You Manage In Members One

While product details come from your store, a few settings live in Members One. Open a product from the Products list to manage these.

Club Assignments

  • The Clubs tab on a product shows every club the product currently belongs to. To add a product to a club, assign it from your club settings. For step-by-step instructions, see the assigning products to your club guide.

Inventory

  • The Inventory tab lets you manage stock that Members One tracks internally, which is kept separate from your store's stock. To learn more, see the Inventory article.

POS Visibility

  • If you use the Members One POS, the actions menu on a product includes an Active On POS toggle so you can control whether the product appears in your point of sale.
