WordPress Shortcodes

Shortcodes are specialised tags provided by the Members One plugin. When you add one to a WordPress page, it renders the matching Members One tool, such as the club signup form or the member dashboard, directly on your store.

When you connect your store and choose to create your club pages during setup, Members One places these shortcodes on the right pages for you. You only need the tags below if you are building a page yourself or moving a tool to a different page.

Available Shortcodes

Below is a table of the shortcodes the Members One plugin provides and what each one renders. Enter the tag exactly as shown, including the square brackets.

ShortcodeWhat It Renders
[moi_create_membership]The club signup interface where members browse and search your clubs, choose products, set a delivery schedule, and continue to checkout.
[moi_membership_checkout]The club checkout form, including the order summary, customer details, delivery address, self pickup option, and secure card payment.
[moi_member_dashboard]The member dashboard where members view their active memberships, order history, and payment methods, and can pause, resume, cancel or edit a membership.

Please note: Keep the [moi_membership_checkout] shortcode on your designated club checkout page only. Placing it on other pages will cause complications with the checkout flow.

Where to Add Shortcodes

You can add a Members One shortcode to any WordPress page or post.

Step 1: Open the page in the editor

  • In your WordPress admin, go to Pages, then open the page where you want the tool to appear.

Step 2: Add the shortcode

  • Add a Shortcode block, then paste the tag exactly as shown above, including the square brackets.
  • Alternatively, paste the tag directly into a paragraph or Custom HTML block.

Step 3: Save the page

  • Select Update or Publish. The Members One tool will render in place of the tag when a visitor views the page.
Members One Club Pages

If you would like to place the club signup tag on a different page, you can do so by copying the tag above and pasting it anywhere on your site to generate the club tools. However, it is recommended to keep the /clubs page unchanged, as it is needed for linking purposes within the plugin.

Members One club pages:

  • Club Signup Page: yourdomain.com/clubs
  • Club Checkout Page: yourdomain.com/club-checkout

For help installing and connecting the plugin, see the WordPress Plugin Configuration article.
