Go to Clubs & Subscriptions > Customer Portal.
The Customer Portal is a self-service website where your members can sign in and manage their own subscriptions. From here they can view their memberships, update payment and delivery details, skip an upcoming shipment and edit their next order, all without needing to contact you.
For an overview of what the platform does before you set the portal up, see Members One subscription club software.
This page is where you set the portal up. You control the branding, the welcome content, the quick action shortcuts and which features members can access, then turn the portal on when you are ready. Giving members a tidy place to look after their own account reduces support enquiries and keeps their details up to date.
Setting Up the Portal
At the top of the page is a status card that stays visible across every tab. It shows whether your portal is currently Active or Inactive, the portal web address with a copy button, and buttons to enable, disable or open the portal.
Enabling your portal
- Use the Enable Portal button to make the portal live for your members. New accounts start with the portal switched off, so nothing is public until you choose to turn it on.
- Disable Portal takes the portal offline again. These buttons save straight away, so the change applies the moment you click.
Saving your changes
- All four tabs share a single form. When you make an edit, a save bar appears at the bottom of the page with Save Portal Settings and Discard options.
- You can move between tabs while editing without losing your changes. Discard returns everything to the last saved version.
Appearance Tab
The Appearance tab controls how your portal looks. It is divided into three sections.
Identity
- Upload your Logo, an optional dark version of your logo for the portal's dark login screen, and a Favicon (the small icon shown in the browser tab).
- Set the Browser tab title and a tagline that introduces your portal.
Brand Colour
- Choose the accent colour used for buttons, links and highlights throughout the portal. You can type a hex code, pick a shade from the colour picker, or select one of the ready-made preset swatches.
Typography
- Pick a curated font pairing for your portal from the range of preset options.
Content Tab
The Content tab controls the words members see when they sign in.
Hero copy
- Customise the welcome heading and sub-copy shown at the top of the portal dashboard, and optionally set a greeting prefix that overrides the time-based greeting.
- You can drop in tokens such as
{first_name}and{active_count}to personalise the message. These are automatically replaced with the member's name and their number of active clubs.
Announcement banner
- Turn on an optional banner to share a message across the top of the portal, for example a seasonal note or a link to a new release. You can set the banner text, an optional link and a style.
Quick Actions Tab
The Quick Actions tab manages the shortcut buttons on the portal dashboard.
Built-in and custom actions
- Toggle the built-in shortcuts (such as browsing clubs and upcoming events) on or off.
- Add up to six custom shortcuts of your own, each with an icon, title, description and web address, for example a link to your online shop.
- Drag the actions to reorder them. Built-in and custom actions share one list, so you can interleave them in whatever order suits you.
Configuration Tab
The Configuration tab controls which features members can use and how tax is handled.
Portal Features
- Choose which sections members can access: the Member Portal dashboard itself, Clubs, Events and Reservations. Switch off any feature you do not want to offer.
Tax Configuration
- Set the tax rate and tax label used at the portal checkout.
What Members Can Do
Once your portal is live, members get their own self-service account. This section explains what they experience so you know what your portal offers.
Signing in
- Members sign in with their email address, no password required. They enter their email, receive a six-digit sign-in code by email, and type it in to access their account. The code expires after 15 minutes for security.
Managing their account
- View their memberships and the details of each one, including upcoming shipments and order history.
- Update their payment method and delivery address.
- Skip an upcoming shipment or edit the products and delivery on their next order.
- Pause or cancel a membership, and review their loyalty status.
Note: Members can only ever see and manage their own account. Everything they change flows straight back into your Vendor Panel.
Congratulations! You have set up your Customer Portal. Once enabled, your members can sign in to manage their own subscriptions. If you need a hand, please get in touch with our Members One support team.
