To open the app, go to Launch MO POS in the Vendor Panel sidebar.
MO POS is the Members One point-of-sale app for your cellar door, bar, or shop. It lets your staff sell products at the counter, look up members, apply the right member and loyalty discounts automatically, and take payment, with every sale flowing straight back into Members One. Because it shares the same products, customers, and clubs as the rest of the platform, there is no separate system to keep in sync.
MO POS launched on the Apple App Store in July 2026 for iPad and iPhone, and it also runs in any web browser, so you can use it on a counter iPad, a phone on the floor, or a desktop computer.
Getting started with MO POS
There are three ways to open MO POS, and all of them use your existing Members One login.
Download the app
- On an iPad or iPhone, download MO POS from the Apple App Store and install it like any other app.
- Open the app and sign in with your vendor ID, email, and password.
Launch from the Vendor Panel
- In the Vendor Panel sidebar, select Launch MO POS.
- The app opens in a new browser tab, already signed in to your store. This is the quickest way to start on a desktop or a shared counter device.
Sign in on the web
- In any browser, go to pos.members-one.com and sign in with your vendor ID, email, and password.
- This is handy for counter devices that don't have the Vendor Panel open, as staff can go straight to the POS without signing in to the Vendor Panel first.
Note: MO POS uses the same staff logins and permissions as your Vendor Panel, so each staff member signs in with their own account.
Connecting to your store
Once you sign in, MO POS loads your products, categories, members, and settings automatically. Most of how the app looks and behaves is controlled from the Vendor Panel under Settings > POS Settings, so you can set it up once and have every device follow the same rules.
POS profiles
- A profile is a saved counter setup, for example "Bar", "Restaurant", or "Cellar Door", each showing its own set of product categories.
- Staff pick a profile on the device, and the product grid only shows the categories for that profile. This keeps a busy screen tidy and lets you report on sales by area later.
POS settings
- Under Settings > POS Settings you can enable POS, organise products into categories, set up payment types, add surcharges and discounts, configure receipts, and manage prep stations for kitchen and bar printing.
- You do not need to configure everything to start selling. Enabling POS and adding a few product categories is enough to get going.
Selling at the counter
The sales screen is built for quick service: browse or search products, add them to the cart, attach a member if there is one, then take payment.
Look up members
- Search for a customer by name, phone, or email to attach them to the sale.
- Their membership and loyalty details load with them, so any discount they are entitled to can be applied.
Member and loyalty discounts
- When a member is attached, their membership or loyalty discount is calculated and applied to the sale automatically.
- Staff can also apply a manual discount at the counter, such as a staff or friends-and-family discount. When a manual discount is used, it replaces the automatic loyalty discount for that sale.
Promotions
- Promotions you have set up for the POS channel can be applied at checkout, so counter pricing stays in line with the offers running across your store.
Take payment
- MO POS includes built-in Cash and Card payment types, and you can add your own, such as EFTPOS or Account, under Payment Types in POS Settings.
- Cash sales show a tendered amount and change-due calculation, and they keep working even if the internet drops. Card and custom payment types need an internet connection.
- If your Stripe account is set up for in-person payments, you can connect a Stripe Terminal card reader (such as the Stripe Reader S700 or BBPOS WisePOS E) and take tap, chip, and swipe payments with a dedicated Card Reader button at checkout.
Note: MO POS keeps working offline for cash sales. Transactions taken while offline are queued on the device and sync to Members One automatically once the connection returns.
Seeing your results
Every MO POS sale is a real order in Members One, so it appears in your reporting alongside online and club sales. There are three main places to review counter activity.
| POS Overview | A dashboard of counter performance, found under Dashboards > POS Overview. It shows sales over time, a payment-method breakdown, best-selling products, top customers, peak trading hours, and sales by profile. |
| Point Of Sale report | An end-of-day report under Reports > Point Of Sale. Each row is a trading day with its transactions, total sales, refunds, net sales, and any cash count, and you can open a day for a full breakdown or download a report. |
| End of day | Staff never open or close a shift, as transactions are captured by date automatically. At the end of a day, staff can optionally submit a cash count from the app to reconcile the drawer, which then appears in the Point Of Sale report. |
Congratulations! You now know what MO POS is, how to open it, and where to see your sales. To fine-tune your setup, head to Settings > POS Settings, or get in touch with our support team here.
