Club Page Editor Overview

Go to Clubs & Subscriptions > Membership Widget > Club Page Editor.

The Club Page Editor is a tool designed to enhance the vendor’s control over the presentation of the subscription club widget on their website. This editor offers the flexibility to customise the introductory content above the widget, including adding text or buttons, to align with your website’s aesthetic and user experience goals.

Auto-Loading Widget

For a seamless user experience, you might prefer the subscription club widget to load automatically when the page is accessed, without requiring the visitor to click a button to initiate the widget. The Club Page Editor facilitates this preference through the following settings:

Enabling Auto-Loading

  • To enable the widget to load automatically on the screen, you can remove any button you’ve added through the Club Page Editor. This action makes the widget instantly visible and accessible to your Members.

<button type="button">Join Now</button>

  • Additionally, you can further ensure the widget’s auto-loading by disabling the ‘Display on Web’ option within the editor. This setting bypasses the need for manual interaction to view the widget.

Turning Off Club Page Editor

There may be scenarios where you prefer a more hands-on approach to designing your club page, possibly due to specific design requirements or the desire for a custom integration that the Club Page Editor does not accommodate.

Disabling the Club Page Editor

  • If you decide to manually design your club page or use another method for widget integration, you can easily disable the Club Page Editor.

  • Simply turn off the ‘Display on Web’ option within the editor. This action removes any content or buttons added through the Club Page Editor from your web page, allowing for manual customisation or alternative widget placement strategies.

Designing Your Club Page Manually

For vendors who prefer a hands-on approach to designing their club pages, this section offers guidance on leveraging your e-commerce platform’s capabilities alongside the Members One widget to create a customised subscription experience.

Turning Off Default Display

  • When opting for a custom-designed club page, it’s recommended to turn off the ‘Display on Web’ option within the Club Page Editor. This action removes the default club introductory section, allowing for a seamless integration of your custom design.

Locating Membership Pages

After installing the Members One widget on your e-commerce platform, ensure you select ‘Yes’ on ‘Create Club Pages’ during the setup process. This action prompts the widget to automatically generate essential membership pages, simplifying the setup.

Default URLs

The Members One widget creates the following default pages, which can be accessed and customised through your platform’s template editor:

  • Club Signup Page: yourdomain.com/clubs

  • Club Checkout Page: yourdomain.com/club-checkout

These URLS serve as the starting point for locating and customising your membership pages to align with your brand and design preferences.

Customization Options

  • Template Editor: Open the default club pages in your template editor to customise their layout and design to match your website’s aesthetic better.

  • Designer Input: If desired, you can collaborate with a designer to refine the pages’ appearance and functionality, ensuring a unique and engaging user experience.

Custom CSS (Widget Design)
