Half a year of updates, in one post
It has been our busiest stretch of building yet, and this update rounds up everything that has landed in Members One since our January release. The short version: the point of sale is out of beta and at work on real counters, a new promotions engine puts one set of discounts across everything you sell, your reports got a serious upgrade, and there are quality-of-life improvements across the whole Vendor Panel.
Here's what's new since January.
MO POS is out of beta and available to everyone
Our point of sale left beta in March and is now available on every plan. Since then it has been growing fast: ring up tasting flights at the counter and see them in your analytics, apply discounts at the till, print dockets to a prep station over your local network, and close each day with an end-of-day summary report of takings and payments. Square joined our POS integrations alongside Poster, so you can keep your existing hardware. See the full picture on our MO POS page.
New at the counter: split payments, emailed invoices and Epson printers
Three more POS additions worth their own mention. Split payments let you take a single sale across multiple tenders, so a table can put part on card and part on cash, with every tender reported separately in your end-of-day summary and refundable when needed. Emailed invoices let you send the customer their invoice straight from the payment-successful screen, handy for trade buyers and anyone who doesn't want paper. And Epson receipt printers are now supported alongside Star Micronics, giving you more choice in what sits on the counter.
Contact Types & Promotions: one discount engine for everything you sell
This is the biggest structural addition of the year. Contact types let you group your customers however you like: trade buyers, staff, VIPs, locals. Promotions then attach a discount to a contact type, and that discount follows the customer everywhere they shop with you, whether that's your website checkout, an event ticket, a tasting booking, the POS counter or a scheduled club order. You can also run a manual loyalty tier through contact types, giving a fixed percentage off the whole cart or selected products, with a confirmation email when a customer is added. One rule, every channel, no double handling. It all builds on our loyalty and discount tools.
A self-service portal for your members, now styled your way
If you haven't met it yet, the customer portal is a hosted space Members One runs for your customers, where your members log in to look after their own membership: updating cards and addresses, viewing upcoming shipments and changing what's in their next box, all without emailing you. There's nothing to build or install on your website, and every self-service change is one less support email in your inbox. This year the portal grew in two directions.
First, it's now yours to style. A new theme editor in your Vendor Panel lets you adjust the portal's content, typography and quick actions, so even though we host it, it reads like part of your brand rather than ours. Second, members can now do more without even logging in: a customer can swap or add membership products straight from a link in your email, choosing whether the change applies to their next order only or ongoing, and declined-payment emails can include an update-payment button that takes them directly to fixing their card.
Two new ways to stop cancellations before they happen
The Vendor Panel now flags memberships with two or more consecutive failed shipments, with a banner on the membership and widgets on your dashboard so the members who need attention surface on their own. Once you've handled one, dismiss it and the list stays clean.
Retention got help on the member side too. When a member goes to cancel through the club widget, they're now offered the choice to skip their next shipment or pause their membership instead. Plenty of cancellations are really just a bad month, and giving members a softer option at that exact moment keeps memberships alive that would otherwise be gone. If retention is on your mind, our new guide on how to reduce wine club churn covers the full playbook these tools support.
A weekly summary of your business, in your inbox
Opt in to the new weekly vendor summary and every Monday you'll get a digest of the week just gone: new signups, cancellations, the health of your recurring orders, retention and revenue. It's the five-minute read that tells you whether the machine ran well while you were busy running the venue.
Smarter reports: churn, MRR and contact types
The Churn Analysis report now shows the full month-by-month picture: active members at the start, new signups, cancellations, net change and churn percentage, on screen and in your exports. The MRR report was rebuilt to calculate real monthly recurring revenue from processed orders, normalised by billing frequency, with a new average-monthly-per-member column. And with contact types now driving your segments and discounts, contact type tracking is available in your reports too, so you can see how each group of customers is actually behaving. Fewer guesses, better decisions.
Track stock inside Members One
You can now track inventory in Members One itself. Turn it on per product, hold stock in multiple pools, and let the system reject oversells on club and scheduled orders and at the POS. Low-stock alerts warn you before a club run empties the shelf, and you can re-check stock on a scheduled order with one click before it processes.
Mailchimp joins, and emails can send from your own domain
Mailchimp is now a supported email marketing integration alongside Brevo and Klaviyo, with your lists kept in sync automatically, a full backfill when you first connect, and a resync button whenever you want one. You can also authenticate your own sending domain from the Vendor Panel, so the emails Members One sends for you come from your winery's domain and land in inboxes, not spam folders. Browse everything we connect to on the integrations page.
Quality of life, everywhere
A run of smaller changes that add up across a working day: log in with a magic link instead of a password, click anywhere on a table row to open it, and let $0 scheduled orders process with a No Charge badge instead of an unnecessary card charge. Event guests now receive their booking confirmation as a PDF by email, bookings have their own report, and the membership importer accepts a Next Process Date column so imported members keep their billing anchor date.
